The goals continued to flow, with Ashton and Tommy both finding the back of the net to give Sherborne a deserved 3–1 lead at half-time.
The Young Zebras came out for the second half with the same intensity and continued to dominate proceedings, creating plenty of chances to extend their advantage. Midway through the half, Fin Guppy produced a superb finish, striking from just outside the 18-yard box to make it 4–1 and put the result beyond doubt.
It was a commanding team performance, with Sherborne controlling the game throughout and showing quality in both attack and defence to secure a comfortable win and progress in the competition.
After the match, manager Tim said he was “so proud of the way the boys controlled the game from start to finish.”
