The Young Zebras produced a fantastic comeback performance to come away with a well-deserved and hard-earned 4–2 victory over Gillingham Town, putting an end to their two-game winning streak.
It was a slow start for the Zebras, who found themselves 1–0 down before fighting back to level the game, only to fall behind again at 2–1. Despite the setbacks, the young side showed fantastic character, gradually grew into the game and began to take control.
The comeback really came to life when A. Calway found the net twice, bringing the game back in Sherborne’s favour. Tommy Gaylard then put the Zebras ahead at 3–2, before Josh Haskett rounded off the evening with a brilliant finish, sealing all three points and completing a superb 4–2 victory.
The Zebras might be young, but underestimate them at your peril! 🦓🔥 They showed resilience, determination and quality to come from behind and take a thoroughly deserved victory.
