Sherborne Town Reserves took a very early lead through Josh Haskett and looked to have added a second, only for it to somehow be ruled out for offside.
Looking the much better side in the first half, failing to convert their chances gave Verwood a glimmer of hope going into HT only 1-0 down.
Credit to Verwood, who hung in and capitalised on a mistake by Sherborne to make get themselves level at 1–1.
Josh Haskett grabbed his second of the day and what looked like the winner, with a close-range finish to put Sherborne back in front at 2–1.
Despite several efforts that somehow failed to find the back of the net, another huge error was punished by Verwood, who levelled the game once again.
The game finished 2–2.
Credit to Verwood for snatching a point from the game, but this will certainly feel like two points dropped for the young Zebras. 🦓
