The Toolstation Western League reached a belated climax today and with results going our way it meant the First team finished in their highest position in club history a very creditable 9th aided by a tremendous run with  only one defeat in the final 16 matches, that coming on the last day of the season at Gillingham Town.

Tonights Toolstation Western League fixture against Ilfracombe finished in an entertaining 2-2 draw after the Zebras had found themselves 2-0 down soon after half time thanks to goals from Ilfracombes S Paxton and M Clunie,Sherborne got themselves back into the game following a penalty awarded for handball which Marc Caines slotted home and substitute Steve Friend who got on the end of a Gary Bowles cross to head home.
